General.
Do you shoot photos only?
Yes. If you only want photos, ask for a photo-only quote.
Do you shoot video only?
Yes. Our $2,800 starting price is for video only.
Can we get photos and video together?
Yes, and most couples do. We bundle for less than booking separately. One team, one timeline, one day.
What areas do you cover?
Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Southern Indiana, and Nashville. Travel fee applies outside the Louisville metro.
How do we book you?
Send a note with your date and venue. I send a quote and a contract. 50% deposit locks the date. The rest is on delivery.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak Saturdays book 9 to 12 months out. Weekdays and off-season can be 3 to 6 months. Reach out even if your date is sooner. Sometimes there's an opening.
Pricing & Payment.
How much does it cost?
Wedding photos and videos start at $2,800. Sessions (engagement, anniversary, couples portrait) start at $400. Every package is customized.
How is payment structured?
50% deposit to book the date. 50% on delivery. Paid by ACH, card, or check.
What's your cancellation policy?
50% deposit is non-refundable. Remaining 50% cancels up to 30 days before your wedding. If I cancel, you get a full refund.
Do you offer payment plans?
Beyond the standard 50/50, ask if a different schedule works. I'm flexible on milestone splits. Final payment is always on delivery.
What forms of payment do you accept?
ACH bank transfer, all major credit cards (small processing fee), and personal or cashier's check.
Day-of.
How many hours of coverage do we need?
Most weddings are 8 hours. Getting ready through open dancing. Six is enough for small or elopement-style days. Ten or more is for multi-day or large weddings with extended reception.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Yes. Backup camera bodies, audio, and storage on every wedding. If something fails mid-day, we keep shooting.
Can we give you a shot list?
Yes. We welcome shot lists and will work through every must-have. Bring it to the planning call and we'll mark it in the timeline.
What if it rains?
We shoot in any weather. Outdoor ceremonies get covered with weatherproof gear. If conditions are unsafe, we'll adjust the plan with you and your coordinator.
Do you coordinate with our other vendors?
Yes. The planning guide includes a vendor list. I'll reach out to your planner, photographer (if separate), and venue coordinator with the timeline.
What happens if you're sick on our wedding day?
I have a small network of trusted backup photographers and videographers. You'd be covered at no extra cost, or refunded in full if you prefer.
Photos.
When do we get the photos?
Within 4 to 6 weeks after your wedding. You'll get an online gallery with download + print release. Print release means you're free to print, share, and post anywhere.
How many photos do we get?
300 to 500 edited photos for a typical 8-hour day, depending on package. Larger weddings get more, smaller weddings get fewer.
Do we get a print release?
Yes. You can print, share, and post any photo from your gallery. Print through your lab of choice.
Can we get the RAW files?
We don't deliver RAW files. Every photo in your gallery is edited for color and exposure. RAW add-on ($150) available if you need them.
Are digital files included?
Yes. Full-resolution digital downloads are included with your gallery. No watermarks, no expiration.
Video.
When do we get the video?
Highlight reel in 7 days. Full film in 2 to 3 months, sometimes as quick as 1 week.
What's the difference between the highlight reel and the full film?
The highlight reel is 60 to 90 seconds. The day in a minute. The full film is 6 to 10 minutes. Ceremony, toasts, first dance, all the moments between.
Can we pick the music?
Yes. Send 3 to 5 songs you love (and a few to avoid) and we'll work from there. Sync licenses are handled for any commercially released track.
Can we get raw footage?
Yes, as an add-on. Raw footage USB drive is $150, mailed after final delivery.
Can we get a same-day edit?
Yes, as an add-on for Louisville-area weddings. 60-second edit played at the reception, $800. Requires the wedding to end before dark.
How is the video delivered?
Digital download via a private link. Files are yours to keep, share, and post anywhere.
Booking.
How do we get started?
Send a note through the contact page with your date and venue. I reply same-day, usually within the hour.
Do you meet with us first?
Yes. Coffee, your venue, or a video call. 30 minutes, no slide deck. We decide together whether it's a fit.
When do we sign the contract?
After the meeting, if we're a fit. Contract and invoice go out the same day. 50% deposit locks the date.
Can we book without meeting?
Yes. If your date is tight and you can't meet, we'll do a video call and send the contract same-day.
Travel.
Do you travel?
Yes. Anywhere in KY, IN, OH, and TN. Travel fee applies outside the Louisville metro.
How much are travel fees?
Mileage + 1 night hotel if more than 2 hours from Louisville. We share the exact number with the quote so there's no surprise.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Sometimes. Send the details (flights, hotel, days) and we'll work out a custom travel package.
Insurance.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. General liability + professional liability, both with coverage that meets most venue requirements.
Can you send a certificate of insurance to our venue?
Yes. Send the venue's COI requirements with your booking and I'll have the certificate over within a week.
What's covered if gear fails mid-day?
Backup camera bodies, lenses, audio, and storage on every wedding. If something fails, we keep shooting. You don't see a gap in coverage.
